It's no ordinary Butt!
With this clever water saving
solution the emphasis is placed on the ease of use and a clear and
attractive design which stands out from your average waterbutt.
What do I need to consider when
choosing the Elho RainDrop?
-
Your drainpipe needs to be round and between 68 - 80mm in diameter
- Ensure
you have between 15 & 35 mm between the wall and the drainpipe for the
Raindrop to fit around the pipe.
-
Your drainpipe needs to have at least 40cm of free space on either side (it
doesn’t fit into corners).
-
You will need to cut out a section of your existing drainpipe to allow the
water to flow in.
-
You can fit it at any height to suit, but be wary of where your drainpipe brackets
are
How
does it stay on the wall?
- The RainDrop comes with 4
special bolts that take the weight of RainDrop. You will need to drill 4 x 8mm holes for these bolts
-
RainDrop holds 75 litres of water in the main tank and a further 5 in the Jug
-
This is equal to 80kg in weight when full
Why
doesn't it overflow?
-
When the water reaches a certain level it will flow back into the bottom
section of your drainpipe via an overflow lip.

fitting instructions are included in the box.
