Not too good at remembering to water? Need something easy and manageable to get you started?

We always recommend these troughs to beginners because it is hard to go wrong. There is an internal reservoir that you fill via a spout (normally about once a week) and the soil takes the water it needs. The roots are protected from the water with a shelf so there is no risk of over watering.

A quick note from personal experience... when you overfill or move at an angle, the water comes out of the inbuilt saucer... so to avoid wet feet or a slippery floor hold the trough level and water a little at a time!
