April delivery

Looks particularly great in containers. One of the most popular, long lasting and well established herbs along with its more powerfully scented family member Oregano. Place them ideally on a hot patio to make them feel at home and to take in their wonderful aroma! Remember to keep them well drained .

Small, spreading and bushy, Sweet Marjoram has tiny, pretty white flower heads. Bees and butterflies love them! Marjoram Sweet thrives best in a sunny site where it will grow to 30cm (12”) Remember to be careful with watering. Rather, keep well drained and take off dead heads after flowering.

Sweet Marjoram will not survive the Winter so remove the dead plant in the Autumn.

Pick them just as the flowers open for flower arrangements and sprinkle over meat or poultry before roasting and on soups before serving. Both fresh and dry marjoram are widely used in stuffings.
