This is one of our ‘cut- and- come again' varieties along with Lollo Bionda. Try planting both types in the same pot. The bright red of the Lollo Rossa contrasted with the vibrant green of the Lollo Bionda planted alternately or in their own clumps look fabulous. Get creative !
Make sure you begin to use them as soon as they are big enough to use. Remember, this is a ‘cut-and-come-again’ variety so make sure you only cut a few of the leaves from near the centre. One thing to remember, avoid picking too many from one lettuce at a time. Have a few ‘on the go’ to spread the crop!
