A well established favourite for your pot! Its drooping flower-heads give a decorative touch all Summer. An impressive plant in any larger container. Use its flowers and leaves when you want that hint of cucumber-like flavour.
Plants grow about 60 cm (2–3ft) high. They prefer full sun.
Pimm’s is the drink commonly associated with Borage. Used often in Summer drinks, fruit juices and wine, and yet it has so many other little known uses! Its beautiful purple flowers are edible and marvellous to add that ‘designer touch’ with flavour and colour to decorate your dishes. Easy to imagine the little purple flowers peeping through. Use it to enhance your salads, soups, cakes as well as adding the leaves chopped finely in sandwiches and salads.
