A very difficult plant to grow from seed, germination can take from between 4-24 months! So planting young plants are a good idea.
Equally happy indoors on the window sill, or in a sunny sheltered spot on the patio, but bring in during the winter as it doesn't like frost!
Cut leaves throughout the season, an older plant (2 years+) will have stronger properties than young plants.
