Spring has finally Sprung! The fruit trees are budding and we are starting to send the young vegetable plants to their new homes. If you are thinking about planting a vegetable garden, something to consider is companion planting. Companion planting is using the natural properties of plants to improve your crops and to offer some natural pest protection. We've some new plant collections which can take the head ache out of choosing which herb plants to include in your vegetable garden or allotment (even if it is a small patio or balcony garden!). vegetable growing doesn't need to be all 'green' most of the companion plants we've chosen have lovely coloured flowers to encourage the bees and insects whilst keeping the slugs and pests at bay.
Still not sure? Drop us a line or pick up the phone and we'll talk you through some options.
